Jason grew up in rural east Tennessee and attended East Tennessee State University. Following his undergraduate studies, Jason moved to Charleston to attend law school. Jason graduated from the Charleston School of Law in 2012 and has been practicing in the low-country family courts ever since. Jason currently serves at the Dorchester County Bar Family Court Liaison. Jason is focused on achieving desirable long term results for his clients.

Tom earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis after receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina. He returned to South Carolina shortly after law school because he simply could not stay away. Before settling in as a Family Law practitioner, Tom has worn different hats in complex civil litigation matters, and has served as General Counsel for an automobile dealership group here in the Lowcountry. Tom currently serves as the Dorchester County Bar Treasurer.

Diane strives in attention to detail and ensuring clients are well taken care of. Relocating to Charleston from Connecticut, Diane is the keystone of every matter at Smith & Wheeler.
